The Challenge
This installation presented a significant challenge from the outset, with solar panels positioned in a field underlain by bedrock and situated approximately 120 metres from the building—complicating access to power infrastructure.
Set against stunning weather and picturesque surroundings, a 28.3kWp ground-mounted Solar PV system was installed, complete with backup storage. This setup supplies power to the expansive studio and treatment rooms, supporting the business’s day and night time energy usage.
A vibrant centre that warmly hosts individuals seeking treatments and well-being workshops.

Over a 12-month period, the solar installation generated 22.72 MWh of clean energy, with half of that power consumed directly on site. The south-facing system, designed to be discreet and harmonious with its environment, captures sunlight efficiently without detracting from the natural beauty of the location.
The integrated battery backup has also demonstrated its importance—recently proving invaluable during a power outage that affected the centre.
